Joe Degeorge - Co-founder
Joe, a lifelong resident of Rochester, NY prides himself on running St. Pauly with a philosophy that everyone can benefit through ethical and sustainable business practices and community involvement. This happily married, father of three finds joy in helping others.
Joe was one of the first in his family to go through college. Upon graduation from SUNY Cobleskill and RIT he gained knowledge and experience as a district manager in a Pizza Company and with 18 years in the insurance industry. However, he is happier now to be able to spent less time in a suit, and more time with his family.

In 1996, Joe and his childhood friend Paul Callarame started St. Pauly with a dream, a pick-up truck, persistence and a little luck. It has since grown to a company that, in 2008 helped over 300 local community organizations with their fundraising and sent more than 38 million garments to an estimated 3.5 million people across the U.S. and the world.

Joe has been involved in community organizations and events including the Henrietta Town Youth Board, Boy Scouts of America with his sons (two of which are Eagle Scouts), baseball, soccer, hockey, cross country, track and field, local fraternal organizations and government. He enjoys time spent on in the woods on his land in Branchport, NY. He is happily married to Sue Daniels DeGeorge and is a proud father of three sons; Joey, age 32; Ben, age 22 and Ted, age 19, all of whom work for St. Pauly.
